Dani Zhang is an essayist and world traveler known for her meditative explorations of gender and Asian identity. With a writing style marked by honesty, she is unafraid of implicating herself in the pursuit of truth. Drawing from her personal experiences and those of others, Dani crafts essays that convey multiple, seemingly contradictory perspectives. Combined, these perspectives express a deeper universal truth. At Northwestern, Dani was the founding president of Polerize, an organization dedicated to making pole dancing classes and events accessible to students.
