Margaret is a member of the class of 2026 from Cincinnati, Ohio majoring in History and Environmental Policy & Culture. She has a particular interest in cultural history, urban systems, and food sovereignty. She was part of the inaugural cohort of the history department’s Sanders Scholars where she completed a research paper on 21st century uses of AIDS activist art. Outside of class she is a member of SOLR (Students Organizing for Labor Rights), plays ultimate frisbee, and is a barista. She spends her free time hunting down new coffee shops in Evanston and Chicago.
