My name is Lauren Dain. I am a junior studying history and political science. Women’s history has always fascinated me, and I have previously done research at the Evanston Women’s History Project. My interest in marathon history originated when I ran my first marathon in 2022. From there, I desired to combine my interest in women’s history and my love of running. This led me to complete a SURG project on American Women’s Marathon history, during which I created the blog www.womensmarathonhistoryproject.com.
